Our Mission
The offices of Agricultural Affairs of the Royal Thai Embassy are held responsible for the following missions in accordance with the 2002 Government rules and regulations laid down by the Permanent Secretary for Agricultural and Cooperatives Office which was signed on October 9th, 2002. |

1. |
Study, analyze, and organize task preparation according to the foreign agricultural policies of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives. |

2. |
Study, analyze, and follow up foreign agricultural policies, standards, and movements.
|
| |
3. |
Represent the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives in negotiation and finding solutions to the problems of non-tax agricultural products measures, also cooperate with and assist in foreign agricultural affairs. |

4. |
Represent Thailand at international meetings or agricultural international meetings
as assigned by the Ministry of Agricultural and Cooperatives. |

5. |
Maintain ties between the Thai government and other international organizations
as well as disseminate the information concerning Thai agricultural issues. |
| |
6. |
Collaborate with related departments and support their missions when pertinent
or as assigned. |

Mr. Anuwat Rungcharoenpornpachee

Mr.Anuwat is a coordinator for the import of fresh Thai fruits to the United States. He specialize in irradiation treatment which is one of the standard treatments necessary for several kinds of tropical fruits in order to pass the USDA and FDA standards.

Miss Yupawan is in charge of conducting researches concerning U.S. Governmental mandatory programs affecting Agricultural and Food import such as food safety, Halal food, and organic agriculture, in order to evaluate possible impact and trend with relevance to U.S. and Thailand's current trade situation and development policies. |
